Newcastle Calcium Carbide and Alloys

项目简介
NCCA prides itself on being the major chemical Industrial complex in South Africa, focusing on the production of Calcium Carbide and Alloys for both domestic and export markets. A key advantage for NCCA is the abundant reserves of high-quality coal and lime resources, making our production process highly competitive. To operate efficiently, NCCA relies on quality lime, a good grade carbonaceous reductant such as coal, and reliable electric power as the basic inputs. We have strategically located assets that facilitate the processing, storage, and transportation of commodities and products. Our project site is situated at Ballengeich, just outside Newcastle in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, Republic of South Africa. We are pleased to inform you that we have received a letter of support from the KZN Department of Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs (EDTEA). Furthermore, we have secured Letters of Intent to Purchase Calcium Carbide from NCCA from Oceania continent, all Americas, and Caribbean islands, which covers more than 100% of our production plan for 2024. We have also engaged with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to explore opportunities under the Black Industrialists Scheme and Tax Allowance Grants. If successful, this support would greatly assist us in managing our debt and cost-sharing commitments.
