Blue Raman and Equiano Cables

项目简介
The Blue Raman Subsea Cable System is a state-of-the-art subsea cable system designed to offer unmatched route diversity and optimization. By utilizing the Tyrrhenian Sea corridor, passing through the Messina Strait, and laying the cable on the southern side of Crete. Blue follows a different approach by: 1.using the Tyrrhenian Sea corridor (passing east of Sardinia) 2.through the Messina Strait, and 3.being the northernmost cable laid on the south of Crete guarantees complete diversification from all other existing cables in Medbasin. Blue and Raman are connected terrestrially via Jordan and Israel, creating areal diverse route from the ones used by all submarine cables from Africa, Middle East and Asia to Europe, avoids threats in terms of diversity and security. Blue and Raman CS are connected via two physically diverse terrestrial routes between Aqaba and Tel Aviv with newly deployed high- performing G.652D fiber pairs.EQUIANO cable is a 12 Fiber Pairs submarine cable system, connecting Portugal to South Africa, along Africa’s Atlantic Ocean coastline. Equiano main trunk ends in Sesimbra CLS (Portugal), an historical crossway of international cables, and in Melkbosstrand CLS (South Africa) while initial branching units are Togo (Lome), Lagos (Nigeria), St Helena (James Town) and Swakopmund (Namibia). The cable stretches 15,000km and it is the Africa's highest capacity cable, designed t
