What is the purpose of this Chamber? To provide a voice for the Hong Kong community in Myanmar To promote responsible trade and investment between the two economies To provide a platform for advocacy, networking & exchanging expertise and the latest information Why should companies and individuals join us? members can have access to business and market information and updates, the chamber conducts advocacy on behalf of members on common issues, and we provide a consistent networking opportunity – connecting members with both Myanmar and Hong Kong business communities. Our membership is open for any individuals and companies as long as they meet our membership criteria. The corporate membership fee is USD 550 a year whereas individuals are USD 275 a year. In terms of our membership composition, the Chamber membership represents a wide range of industries and nationalities in line with Hong Kong’s diversity and inclusiveness. Among the companies, more than half are Hong Kong firms and the remaining are all the other nationals including Myanmar, Thai, Singapore, even German etc. In terms of our network and connection, we are a member of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide which is an umbrella organization with 47 Hong Kong Business Associations from 35 countries.
