Integrated Gracilaria SP Seaweed Cultivation

This project is an investment project that is ready to be offered in Bone Regency, with the project name "Integrated Gracilaria sp. Seaweed Cultivation". The project location is located in Cenrana District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi Province. The potential for seaweed in Bone Regency for the type of seaweed Gracilaria sp has a potential existing pond area of 15,243 ha, with a realized Gracilaria sp pond area of 11,767 ha. This potential is spread over several sub-districts in Bone Regency, with the largest potential for ponds in Cenrana District. In 2018, there was a collaboration developed with the development of the production of seaweed accompaniment to the specifications of a seaweed factory in the Cenrana District for semi-finished products (semi-refined). This condition requires the existence of a company engaged in the integrated processing of seaweed products of the Gracilaria sp. type. The investment value is estimated at approximately Rp. 33 billion (assuming an initial outlay of Rp. 19 billion), with a CAPEX value of Rp. 14 billion and an OPEX value of Rp. 18 billion. The proposed analysis period is 20 years with a payback period of 8 years at an IRR rate of 16.74%.
